Reading Stars Phonics Phase 4 Blend Pack is suitable for supporting a phonics teaching programme at the stage covering blends.The pack contains 6 individual books and 6 copies of each book. It includes both fiction and non-fiction titles, on a range of topics and text types. These books corresponds to the phase 4 of the Letters and Sounds programme which is the UK goverment's benchmark for learning to read English. The words are all decodable which means they are made up of phonics that children can put together to decode the word. Together these books offer a structured way of developing children's progression in reading. Each of these books in this pack introduces new short and simple blends (CVCCs and CCVCs), In addition 6 new High Frequency words are introduced. Some of the books in this pack have been quizzed for Accelerated Reader but not all.The levels given are for the books quizzed.
