Phonics Phase 3 Build Pack

Reading Stars Phonics Phase 3 Build Pack contains 14 phonics readers that gradually cover sets of letters and sounds as they are introduced within this phase of a phonics teaching programme. It contains both fiction and non-fiction titles, on a range of topics and text types. These books corresponds to Phase 3 of Letters and Sounds, the UK Government's synthetic phonics programme, but can be used for phonics reading practice to support any phonics programme. The words are all decodable which means they are made up of phonics that children can put together to decode the word.  These first books in Phase 3 introduce new phonemes, digraphs and consonont digraphs, together with more high frequency words. Each book introduces the new letters and sounds in an order that corresponds to Letters and Sounds. These books do not contain any words with letterrs or sounds that pupils will not have met at this stage of their phonics programme.
