Clever Jack and the giants

An adaptation of a classic German fairy tale, illustrated with fresh, bright pictures and specially retold for beginner readers. When poor Jack swots seven flies away from his sandwhich with a single blow, he can't wait to tell the world how brave he is. But he has to use his wits to defeat an angry collection of giants and become a real hero.
