Reading Stars Phonics Phase 2 Build Pack is the first stage in Ransom's phonics reading programme. It contains 20 reading books to support the first stages of a phonics programme. It contains both fiction and non-fiction titles, on a range of topics and text types. These books correspond to Phase 2 of Letters and Sounds, the UK Government's synthetic phonics programme, but can be used for phonics reading practice to support any phonics programme. The words are all decodable which means they are made up of phonics that children can put together to decode the word.
