Transition Fiction van Barrington Stoke

Barrington Stoke biedt onder het label 'Transition Fiction' een selectie van boeken die speciaal zijn ontwikkeld om jonge lezers te begeleiden naar het lezen van langere, complexere teksten. Deze overgangsboeken zijn ideaal voor kinderen die net te oud zijn voor beginnende leesboeken, maar voor wie een reguliere jeugdroman nog een te grote stap betekent.

Transition Fiction zorgt ervoor dat ook minder zelfverzekerde lezers plezier en zelfvertrouwen opdoen, zodat zij zonder drempels kunnen overstappen naar ‘volwassenere’ jeugdboeken. Zo wordt iedere leerling gestimuleerd om zich verder te ontwikkelen als lezer.
